Owner's Description

Frontier Romances #1 is referenced in Fredric Wertham’s “Seduction of the Innocent” (SOTI) as illustration #34 and in the text on page 180.

Illustration #34 features a spanking panel with the caption “Erotic spanking in a Western comic book”. This panel comes from the story “Tangled Love” contained in Frontier Romances #1. In addition to the spanking panel, Wertham references the book on page 180 where he notes “In Western comic books, the erotic spanking of a girl by a man is frankly featured”.
