1974 CGC 8.0SS (census 3116/6842), paid $635 on 12/19/2006, initially graded CGC 8.0 on 08/28/2006, then signed by Len Wein and Herb Trimpe at Phoenix Con on 06/06/2014 (same grade unsigned sold on eBay 07/04/2014 for $1375, again on 04/26/2015 for $2330, on 07/04/2019 for $4000, on 03/29/2021 for $8250, and on 05/31/2021 for $13000); 1st full appearance of Wolverine. This is the first CGC book I’ve ever owned- a Christmas present from my wonderful wife! 693 points...changed to 1092 points on 12/22/2010…increased to 1201 points after signatures were added.
RIP Herb Trimpe (5/26/1939 - 4/13/2015), you and your wife are special people. I'm glad to have met you.
RIP Len Wein (7/12/1948 - 9/9/2017).
