Way back in 1978 I was 15 years old when this book came out. I already collected Amazing Spiderman and Avengers but there was a lot of buzz around the new X-Men. This was the first issue I bought off of the newsstands, due to the hype I bought two copies! I then went down to a Hollywood Blvd. comics store and bought GSX1 and 94-110 for .50 each!
I bought two of each issue for awhile, and the series exploded in popularity. Seemed like a good investment, but more importantly I loved the stories and art!
I eventually sold the 94 for $20 and 95-130 for a lot more than I paid for them. I am now putting these back together and wish I had kept all of those original copies.
