Owner's Description
This May/June 1966 issue of Showcase introduced the Inferior Five, which has turned out to be a very rare book in the highest grades. Our 9.6 is the highest graded that CGC has ever assigned this issue and it's 1 of only 5 examples ever awarded this top grade. A parody of popular superheroes of the day, the Inferior Five mocked not only DC's own Justice League but took humorous shots at many of the Marvel heroes of the day as well!
We acquired the book from the 5/31/2021 CL Auction.
2026 Update: Our 9.6 has now been surpassed in the Census by a single 9.8, which we have never seen.
