Issue #44 is the last solo SA Hawkman debut appearance in the Brave and Bold title. There are two 9.6s on this one topping the census. We lost the first 9.6 copy of this issue to a friend and fellow collector at auction, but then, lo and behold, a second 9.6 emerged, which we won at a significant discount to the first. We acquired our book from the 12/7/21 CL Auction. Unfortunately, more times than not we have been on the other side of situations like this, as it’s always better to buy the second book. But then again, you never know whether there will be one.
