STORY:

"Til Death Do Us Part!"

Story by Louise Simonson. Art by Greg LaRocque and Jim Mooney. Painted cover by Charles Vess. The alien symbiote (aka black costume) ambushes Peter Parker while he is getting dressed. Now Spider-Man must battle the black costume and the new Vulturions on his way to the Baxter Building! Meanwhile, Aunt May laments Peter's decision to drop out of graduate school. (Note: The Web of Spiderman series essentially replaced the Marvel Team-Up title as Marvel's third regular series featuring Spider-Man.) 32 pages Cover price $0.65.



It Begins! This is the first issue of Web of Spider-Man. It released in April of 1985 the Vess cover is one of the most beautiful works of art in Comic history. This series only adds to the exhilarating story of Peter Parker and his superhero personae Spider-Man! It has always been a goal of mine to complete Web of Spider-Man, and to add to the alure and rarity of this set, I will be hunting “Newsstand” books. Any help to complete the set would be very welcome. I hope you enjoy looking at these wonderful pieces of Comic History!
