Daredevil #27 features the 3rd appearance of Stilt-Man + a Spider-Man crossover!
Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $180.
According to the CGC Census Report as of Tuesday, August 22, 2023, out of a total of 486 Universal copies graded, only 72 copies were graded in 9.4 with only 46 copies graded higher: 30 in 9.6 and 16 in 9.8!
With these statistics in mind, this represents an impressive rarity factor of only 14.81% of the total population!

Published in April of 1967, Gene Colan (penciller) & Frank Giacoia (inker) produced another stunning cover featuring the Amazing Spider-Man, the Stilt-Man, the Masked Marauder, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson! The bright yellow background brings out all the characters, especially the large central image of Daredevil standing in a dominant pose!
Moreover, not only does the Stilt-Man make his third appearance in this issue, but after previously appearing in Daredevil issues 16-17, Spider-Man makes his “3rd” crossover appearance in the Daredevil title!
To piggyback off his previous caption in Daredevil 26, but this time making a powerful and striking statement to immediately grab the reader’s attention, Stan “The Man” Lee boldly wrote: AND HOW ABOUT OUR TITANIC TITLE?
“MIKE MURDOCK MUST DIE!”
Early Silver Age Daredevil issues are still extremely undervalued in the current marketplace, so it would not be a bad idea to invest in high grade copies NOW, while they are still very affordable!
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED copy from mycomicshop (via eBay) in March of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
