Daredevil #91 features appearances by the Black Widow & Mr. Fear!
Overstreet 2023 NM- 9.2 value = $50.
According to the CGC Census Report as of Tuesday, August 22, 2023, out of a total of 179 Universal copies graded, only 42 copies were graded in 9.4 with only 57 copies graded higher: 41 in 9.6, 15 in 9.8 and 1 in 9.9!
With these statistics in mind, this represents a rarity factor of 23.46% of the total population.

Published in September of 1972, Gil Kane (penciller & inker) produced a badass cover in which Daredevil is battling one of his earliest foes—Mr. Fear!
Gil Kane is one of my all-time favorite cover artists! The jet-black background coupled with a full moon and within a classic early 70’s picture frame layout, we see Mr. Fear grabbing Daredevil by the chin and attempting to throw him off the rooftop of a New York City building!
On another note, I often wonder if Mr. Fear was the inspiration behind the creation of Skeletor—He-Man’s arch nemesis, who would not make his debut until 1981, when he first appeared in the Masters of the Universe franchise? They certainly have a strong resemblance!
Furthermore, I think Daredevil #6 (origin and 1st appearance of Mr. Fear) would look stunning paired next to Daredevil #91!
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED copy from Pedigree Comics’ Grand Auction in March of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
