Issue #173 features a great cover with Batman being tried by a Joker Judge and Jury. It also features appearances by Batwoman and Bat-Girl. Our 9.6 comes from the Alfred Pennyworth Collection and is tied with one other copy for second highest graded trailing a single 9.8, the Pacific Coast copy, which was the subject of quite a bidding war in a 2021 Heritage auction. We lost that one, I am not sure we were even second at the time, but are happy to have this one, which is still one of the top three copies and was considerably more affordable. We acquired the book from the 9/10/2022 Heritage Auction.
