Owner's Description

Three stories in this issue: 1) Matt Murdock, Agent of SHIELD, 2) What If Ghost Rider Were Separated From Johnny Blaze? and 3) New Life

In a world where Tony Stark was present at the accident that gave Matt Murdock his powers (his company being responsible for the radioactive chemical transport that crashed), he takes the injured boy to the newly completed SHIELD Helicarrier. When their tests determine the extent of his enhanced senses, Nick Fury decides to train Matt as a SHIELD agent. Meanwhile, agents of Hydra have kidnapped Matt's father, hoping to lure out Matt and the secrets of the isotope he's absorbed. Fury tries to hide this from Matt, but Matt's lie-detecting ability uncovers the truth. Matt tries to go rogue to rescue his father, but SHIELD is able to recapture him. Instead, Fury allows Matt to lead the mission to rescue Jack Murdock once they find his location. The mission is a success and Matt decides to go on being a secret agent under the codename: Daredevil.

A Crimson Mage separates Johnny Blaze from Ghost Rider and takes the power of Ghost Rider for himself. He wishes to kill the Pope and rule the world. Johnny Blaze interferes in time and saves the Pope, after that Johnny kills Ghost Rider with the ceremonial blade, but dies as well because of the remaining spiritual link between himself and the Ghost Rider.
