I decided to place these four Bloodlines Annuals right after the introduction of the four Supermen, and right as the Reign of the Supermen storyline kicked off. These Bloodlines Annuals would have had to take place during the Reign, but I am not sure exactly when each actually hit the shelves in relation to the rest of the Reign books, so this is about as close as I think I can get them.
I wanted to include the Superman Title Bloodlines 1993 Annuals in my Custom Set also… a friend and I were discussing whether these belonged with the Superman (Doomsday! Funeral for a Friend Reign of the Supermen) set. We were both on the fence, but I think we both also may have been waiting to see who could get them all in 9.8 first before committing either way... hmmm... I decided to include them with my larger Custom Set because first of all, they are really really really cool! Second, they include each of the four Supermen from Reign of the Supermen. Sure the story has nothing to do with The Reign but I think they look cool in the larger Custom Set as well as the Bloodlines set and I don’t need permission! LOL!
I submitted this book myself and it became one of only two in 9.8!
This was one of two copies I sent in the same submission... the other earned a 9.6. That was disappointing but I was really just very happy to get one 9.8 out of the two. At the time I had three other raw copies that had 9.8 potential... I was waiting on these results to decide if they were going in with my next submission.
So happy to add this book to this set, and also make room in my next submission for other books!
