However, this is the much RARER Newsstand Edition Variant, which means that you can estimate that ONLY 2-4% of all 9.8s are Newsstand Edition copies!

Published in June of 1982, the legendary Frank Miller (penciller) & Klaus Janson (inker) rendered a classic Daredevil Vs. the Punisher battle cover!
In my opinion, Daredevil #183 is one of Frank Miller’s BEST covers in his entire run on the Daredevil title!
The Punisher is featured with his machine gun blasting Daredevil with a devastating shot to his stomach, with the exit wound flying out through his back! The entire background is radiating with the punisher’s symbolic sniper scope target area, with beautiful sky blue and yellow colors that coordinate well and make this cover POP!
Furthermore, the Punisher, played by actor Jon Bernthal, made his introductory appearance on the critically acclaimed Marvel Daredevil Streaming Series (2015-2018)! He was introduced in Season 2, and just like this classic cover suggests, the two powerhouses clashed several times before they became allies!
Therefore, for any Daredevil, Punisher, and Frank Miller fan and or collector, Daredevil #183 is an absolute MUST-HAVE, as it represents the historical 1st meeting of Daredevil & the Punisher!
COOL FACT: I was the one who vetted the KEY comment—“1st meeting of Daredevil & the Punisher” to CGC President Matt Nelson and the team, which got approved on Friday, October 28, 2022, to be added to the CGC label!
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED Newsstand Edition Variant copy from andymac2570 (via eBay) in October of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
