Published in July of 1983, Klaus Janson rendered a beautiful cover that documents Daredevil’s historic 1st meeting with the most popular mutant in the Marvel Universe—none other than the Wolverine!
Moreover, I recently auctioned off two CGC 9.8 Newsstand Edition copies on Heritage Auctions; and one of those copies (with only OFF-WHITE TO WHITE Page quality) SOLD for a new world record sale of $528.00 on October 2, 2022!
With that said, once I laid my eyes on this pristine copy, which is PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED with PERFECT STAPLE PLACEMENT and super BRIGHT INK SATURATION—I knew I had to grab it! This copy outshines my two previous copies, so I am ecstatic to get this blazer into my collection!
COOL FACT: I was the one who vetted the KEY comment—“1st meeting of Daredevil & Wolverine” to CGC President Matt Nelson and the team, which got approved on Friday, October 28, 2022, to be added to the CGC label!
In closing, I purchased this PERFECTLY WRAPPED & CENTERED Newsstand Edition Variant copy from Mr. Nick Abbratozzato of Charm-City-Comics in October of 2022! I am super proud to own this immaculate copy and look forward to watching it appreciate each year!
