I joined Heritage in November of 2007, when I checked their archives for the first time, I noticed this piece, and the low price it sold for. I thought to myself how I should have joined a bit sooner and how I could have had a shot. In May of 2008 I received a newsletter from Classic Incorporated, announcing a new website called Worldwide Comics. They had a wonderful selection of Action Comics, and I was happy to see #481 for sale, which turned out to be the same piece that sold on Heritage.

From what I've read, the Supermobile was controversial with readers at the time due it's appearance mainly for marketing purposes. Since I was not around at time, I only see this as a terrific José Luis García-López cover with the blues against the yellows that compliment each other and a fun POV up in the sky.
