Owner's Description

The FF battle the X-Men in issue #28, through the connivance of a host of old FF foes. Three 9.8s do exist here, but we lost the last one that was auctioned by ComicLink. Our copy comes from the Don & Maggie Thompson Collection and sure looks like a 9.8. We sent the book to CGC, which screened it and chose it for pressing, but it failed to obtain an upgrade and now has a new cert number. We acquired the book in the CL Auction.
