Owner's Description
The Secrets of the Batcave are the focus of Issue #203 from 1968, which features a striking green cover. Our 9.6 comes from the famous Colmoreman Collection mentioned so often in our write-up of this set. We had been holding out for a 9.8, of which there are two in the census, but finally decided that, if Mark Arrand could not find one, his 9.6 was good enough for us too. We most certainly overpaid, as we got it off the Make an Offer option on Heritage, but I defy anybody to find all the books in this set without overpaying or making some compromises, both of which we did in this case.
As I noted earlier, we have found that the Batman 80-Page Giants are probably the most challenging of the books in this set to find in high grade, since you are competing with the legions of Batman collectors. We still need three more if anyone could help us.
