This cover has several interesting thing going on (see Midnight Tales #2). This is reprint of Midnight Tales #2 but for one added story (see below). First, unlike Prof. Coffin #19 where the cover had been mirrored this cover has had some modifications done to it. The information box on Midnight Tales #2 on the lower left letting you know the book featuring the Midnight Philosopher and Arachne is gone and replaced by a barcode box. The color scheme has been completely changed. The ceiling molding has disappeared completely. Most importantly the name of the doctor in the doorway has changed. Midnight Tales #2 has the name of the doctor as Doctor Lasker but on Prof. Coffin #20 the name has been changed to Doctor Weirtham, which has to be a cheeky reference to Dr. Wertham of “Seduction of the Innocent” fame. The added story to this issue come from Ghostly Haunts #48 and is titled “The Exorcism”with all the work done by Wayne. Better picture to come.
