800 Registry points, really?
I have never cared too much about assigned registry points and not once have I ever requested an adjustment, which I hear is done quite often, but this the first appearance of Black Manta and arguably along with Issues #1 and #11 one of the three most valuable books in this set, at least since the Aquaman movie. Moreover, our 9.8 is the single highest graded copy of this key issue. I repeat 800 points, really? I wish we could have bought it for $800, needless to say, it cost us over 10 times that amount.
We acquired this gem in a private transaction in April 2023. Once again, it was not cheap.
