Owner's Description

Unknown limited distribution Graham Crackers incentive 35th anniversary issue. Based on the previous Graham Crackers incentive, probably around 2000 copies. Art Adams has really settled in to how he depicts Sonja by this point, and with the new 50th anniversary books coming out just last month (with an Art Adams cover option), I think we can say it hasn't changed a whole lot in the last 15 years. This neutral toned variation of cover 25A works really well - better than many of the black and white and/or sketch covers that have been issued over the years. Probably because she's still got her signature red hair. While I'm not in love with the headlights pose, I do like that she's confident enough to stand there boldly and stare the viewer down. My major complaint with the cover is the treatment of the sword. Real fighters that have a clue don't stick the point of their sword in the dirt to pose - it promotes rust. The tip of her sword should be resting on the front edge of her boot.
Overall? Yeah, I would have bought this book based on this cover.
