Owner's Description

This offbeat issue has many writers and many artists contributing. There are some notable first appearances including Obnoxio the Clown and first Yellow Hulk. What If Wonder Man were a woman and Power Man were a girl in a tease to DC but says "Marvel Lawyers advise you not to print this gag."

Crazy (humor issue). Lots of one-page (and one-panel) strips, considering such questions as "What If Daredevil Were Deaf Instead of Blind?" (script and art by Frank Miller); "What If the Watcher Grew Hair?"; "What If the Hulk Married the She-Hulk?"; "What If Doctor Strange Were an Ordinary Magician?"; "What If Iron Man Had an Eating Problem Instead of a Drinking Problem?"; "What If Marvel Comics and the National Endowment for the Arts Presented Spidey Intellectual Stories?"; and lots of other great puzzlers. Scripts by Fred Hembeck, Tom DeFalco, Jim Shooter, Mark Gruenwald, Brent Anderson, Al Milgrom, Danny Fingeroth, Roger Stern, Bob Budiansky, Mary Jo Duffy, Dan O'Neill, Frank Miller, Rick Parker, Mike Carlin, Joe Albedo, Bob Layton, Bill Sienkiewicz, Eliot Brown, Bob Budiansky, John Romita Jr., and Alan Kupperberg. Art by Hembeck, Dave Simons, Bob Hall, Brett Breeding, Ron Zalme, Milgrom, Anderson, Frank Springer, Ed Hannigan, Budiansky, Terry Austin, Kupperberg, Gruenwald, Jack Abel, Miller, Albedo, Layton, Parker, Sienkiewicz, Brown, Joe Sinnott, Bob Wiacek, and Marie Severin. Layton cover. Cover price $1.00. (description by mycomicshop.com)
