Limited to 1300 copies. This is the exact same book as the following listing "Fantastic Realm UK Virgin Edition" - the only difference is in how CGC has labelled the books and this one is worth an extra 3 points in the registry. Homs is one of my favorite Red Sonja cover artists due to the fantastic use of color. His Sonja is always a very real person and this image is no exception. What I do take exception to is the ridiculousness of a shield and what looks like a pole-axe in the same hand - and her off-hand. That's a Conan level of strength, just to hold those upright. And while I appreciate that Sonja is a fiercer, stronger fighter than I ever was, the wrist just cannot support that. On the other hand, or more specifically in the other hand, Sonja has a monster axe. And I love how choked up on the handle her grip is - very believable. Sonja's hair is often a focus of mine - I do some portraiture myself, and I love painting hair - and her hair in this image is too fabulous. LOVE IT.
Overall? Well, my LCS didn't get a copy of this book when it came out - but if it had I might have even picked it over the Mack virgin cover that I did pick up.
