Owner's Description

Issue #134 marks the last Human Torch story in Strange Tales and features an appearance by the Watcher. This issue is particularly tough to find in high grade, with only a single 9.8 and two 9.6s in the census. The sole 9.8 came to auction in late 2019 with our PC #131. We got the first one at a reasonable price, but lost the #134 in one of those last second CL auctions. The book sold for $5,211, but a mere 14 months later it comes to auction again and makes $13,325.

We acquired our 9.4 in the 4/29/2021 CL auction. I do wish we had gone higher on the 9.8 in December 2019, but you win some and lose some.
