Owner's Description

September 1982, WHITE Pages! Direct sale edition. Purchased 3 copies brand new, back in the day. I have two left, both graded 9.8, one WP one OW/W. These comics all have pretty dingy newsprint pages even when new, almost as if Frank Miller had wanted it that way. Happy to get the white pages anyway.

I remember being SOOO disoriented and disappointed back then, when I saw this cover with the 2D knifelike claws vs. the classic Byrne Half-moon cross-section claws. I prefer the half-moons, although obviously, the first X-Men movie preferred otherwise.
