Owner's Description
This December 1968 issue features the first appearance of Dolphin with a very appealing cover debut of the character by artist Jay Scott Pike. The book has a strong collector following and generates prices well well beyond the registry points CGC awards for this issue. Our WP 9.8 is just one of two topping the census. While it certainly was far from cheap, we did get it at a more than 30% discount to the first sale of a 9.8 four years ago. We acquired the book from the 8/27/2025 CL Auction.
