"I Was King of the Mechanical Men!" Gods, I love this cover. Some serious Nick Cardy goodness. Ridiculous, giant mecha roaming across the landscape, tearing everything apart and completely amok. Cardy's mechanical men are simultaneously silly looking and absolutely perfect, and the bright yellow sky is an excellent backdrop for the image. Overall? the cover sells this book for me - I want to know how these things were built and how he lost control.
