Earlier this week I was just about to leave for work when my phone dinged that a new search came up for CGC Scooby Doo SS. I had literally just randomly checked that search a few minutes previously. Despite being listed for under five minutes, it had a lot of looks and based on the pricing I had a feeling it was a get it now or regret it later no time to think about it. So I took the five minutes to finalize the sale and headed to work. After work I messaged the seller asking for the backstory and explaining how I'm a bit of a Scooby fanatic. He congratulated me sharing he was selling on behalf of his friend that was downsizing his collection and shared that within seconds of me purchasing another potential buyer messaged him asking why he took the auction down so fast because he was about to buy it. This is now officially my oldest Scooby Doo sketch cover predating my commission from 2015.
