Lone 9.8 when purchased.
I first saw this in a Heritage auction with a little over two weeks left until closing. I had to have it and it was a long two weeks. In the end I only had to pay about 1/3 of my maximum bid, if only all my auction winnings ended this way. You can't tell from the scan but the inner well has several newton rings right where Superman's eye beams are flaring, making it look like he’s about to melt through the holder, a neat effect.
