I started my CGG collection in the summer of 2006 and this piece was one of my first graded Action Comics examples. It had actually been in the back of my mind ever since I first got this piece to have the holder replaced, it came with several scuff marks on the back, the holder also had a slight curve and would not lay completely flat, I finally had the holder replaced in May, 2023. The improved clarity of the new holder does the vibrant cover coloring long overdue justice, I’d almost swear I was looking at a completely different book now. The back cover ad for the Masters of the Universe video game brings back fond memories of playing with He-Man toys.
