This issue is free of advertising, with featurettes filling the space normally taken with ads. In "Dangerous Waters," Turok and Andar meet a tribe who claim one of their members had found a way out of Lost Valley. However, they thought he had gone mad and exiled him to an island in the middle of a raging river. The two Indians raft to the island to find the man, but find that he may, indeed, be mad. Then, in "The Flesh Eaters," they wander into an area patrolled by a pack of giant flesh-eating honkers. They must be destroyed, or Lost Valley may become ravaged by these ravenous predators. Purchased raw from Neatstuff, Oct '09. Circulation in 1961 estimated at 377,145 per comichron.com. The first copy I had of this issue was in the mid seventies when I was a kid, a hand me down bookbound set from my dad with a missing page in the last story. After more than 20 years, was finally able to read the ending!!!
