"The Secret Life of Captain Marvel"
(Script) Bill Woolfolk

Josiah Doone, a collection agency accountant, is ordered to collect an overdue payment even if physical force is required but Doone is a rather meek looking fellow. Moments later, his manager discovers the overdue customer is a notorious murderer. Doone arrives at the thugs apt and gets immediately clonked on the head. Meanwhile, Capt. Marvel is on the trail of killer Deadeye Dick and gets his address from the police. As he flies to Deadeye's place he starts to envy normal people and a normal life. Cap arrives just in time to save Doone from one of Deadeye Dick's accomplices. Doone doesn't know where Deadeye went but a peek into his mind sees he envies Capt Marvel. He decides to try and find Deadeye Dick (Richard Throttlebum) because he believes he still has a job to do. As Cap flies the crook to jail he daydreams that he has a normal life as Josiah Doone. Cap finally gets the location of Deadeye and arrives just as Doone as once again nearly killed. The story closes with each wishing they were the other.

7 page Captain Marvel
"The Malaga Bull"

A crazy bullfighter that I'll call Rodrigo is seeking out Capt Marvel because his great Malaga bull is in danger. Apparently someone is trying to kill his bull because they believe if he breeds the bull it will ruin their business. Cap flies Rodrigo out to the stockyards to protect Pepito the bull. They arrive as a thug tries to blow up Pepito with a bundle of TNT. They decide to take Pepito back on a boat. Once Pepito is in a crate Capt Marvel changes back to Billy because the bull is getting enraged by his red suit (unlike Billy's red sweater). Billy is immediately knocked out and Rodrigo discovers they've been double crossed and led to the wrong ship. He finds a bound and gagged Billy, releasing him and allowing Billy to change back to Capt Marvel. He stops the crooks as they're trying to push Pepito's crate into the ocean. The bull breaks free and immediately attacks Cap until Rodrigo distracts him with his matador skills. Rodrigo gets bumped so Marvel takes off his own cape and lures Pepito back into his crate. The crooks are arrested and Capt Marvel flies Rodrigo and Pepito to their proper ship.
