Owner's Description
x4 signed by Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting, Mike Perkins and Butch Guice. Big thanks goes out to Will Wong, Kris Moore and Carlos Camara for helping me to be able to get this one done.
There's alot of good things to say about this issue, but in short - we get the sweet confrontation between Bucky Cap and the Serpent Squad that culminates with Buc taking on Crossbones! After the fight, we see that even though Bucky can take on the bad guys, there's still alot more to being Captain America.
The issue closes with Bucky and the Black Widow sharing a kiss, and Sharon Carter stumbling onto . . . Steve Rogers?!
Also pictured is my reading copy, signed by the creative team of Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting and Mike Perkins.
Personal Note
With Steve Epting always doing the covers to the issues, I sometimes forget to note who is drawing the interiors to the book when I'm reading it for the first time, as was the case with this issue where Mike Perkins handling the interior art for this issue.
In regards to the cliffhanger at the end of the issue, I love the way how everything turned out in retrospect. I had my theories about who it could have been, but I never really ventured a guess just because I'm enjoying the series so much, and I trust this creative team so much.
This book also marks the point in my collection where I will be accumulating raw issues for a large Signature Series submission. I plan on making my next submission to update my set to either issue #50 or #600 as the series will be returning to Cap's original numbering at #51.
