Owner's Description
Conan the Barbarian #23 is a key issue featuring the first Red Sonja story. According to Wikipedia:
"Red Sonja, the She-Devil with a Sword, is a fictional character, a high fantasy sword and sorcery heroine created by Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith, and loosely based on Red Sonya of Rogatino in Robert E. Howard's 1934 short story "The Shadow of the Vulture". She first appeared in the Marvel Comics book Conan the Barbarian #23 (February 1973). Red Sonja has become the archetypical example of the fantasy figure of a fierce and stunningly beautiful female barbarian who typically wears armor resembling a bikini or lingerie".

In November 2011 only 12 of these books had been CGC certified at 9.8, and it took me quite some time to find this book at 9.8 with pure white pages and near-perfect cover centrering and orientation.
Unfortunately, when I took a photo of the front cover, there was a bit of light reflection from the holder, but the deep colors should still be easy to observe.
Another interesting observation is that this book has a certification number just one number lower than my Conan the Barbarian #24 9.8 WP book, so although these books were bought several months apart, it seems these two books originated from the same set (and from the same owner). So I am just guessing that I am not the only collector selecting books with great eye appeal (=near-perfect cover centering and orientation).
Currently (July 2017) there are 22 CGC 9.8 books of Conan the Barbarian #23. I know of these 19 books (actually 20 books, but I cannot read the cert number on one book):

I have photos/scans of 19 books, 0986003008 and 1050797001 probably were the books with most perfect cover centering and orientation. You can see the 19 books here:
