Owner's Description

Ok, this was getting to be just "too good." That is, from Adams, to Kaluta, to Wrightson made Detective Comics THE title to read anc collect bar none [ ok, I realize you have your favorite title from this period but go write your own comic book descrition :-) ].

The cover of this issue must have made me dance the Jig when I first saw it at my favorite comic book newsstand as it combined my two favorite comic books "things:" the Batman and horror. Admiring it now I think, talk about a highway to hell as that coach driver, horse and coach sure look like a demonic possession kicked into overdrive.

It is my humble opinion that Wrightson was the finest "horror artist" of the Bronze Age if not, arguably, all comic book ages. That being my view, I am so grateful that the cover to this issue was by this "horror master."

CGC 9.8 all the way and this copy of Detective Comics 425 has perfect cover alignment and that is something the other current CGC 9.8 copies of this issue lack in abundance.

Keeper even if..., well, you know.

[The description of this book by the previous owner follows as it is apt.

"Not an Adams issue, but it features a great Bernie Wrightson cover along with the Horror element included. Sounds like a winner to me!"]
