I have to say out of all of the Avengers vs X-Men this one and the cover for 8 were my two favorites. For this one Spider-Man has been put through the wash. Colonix has punched Spider-Man in the face repeatedly and probably done more damage to him than any other villain.
So much so that they give you an inside the head perspective in this issue of Mr. Spider trying to stay conscious, while figuring out what's not bleeding, and even bruises the reader that he's hit so hard.
Jim Cheung you have made me a fan with this series. While I had heard of your name tossed around during the Young Avengers Era and a few others this was the first time I was like wow and shook my head up and down with an impressed feeling of.
Really wish I would have had a photo of this one but alas it was an eBay find and the photo given was a stock.
