I am a huge fan of this sketch cover concept. I waited for the price to drop on this one, then quickly grabbed it when I thought it was a reasonable deal.
Signed and sketched by long time Wolverine artist Mark Texeira on August 10, 2012. The label doesn't say it, but in the by line he noted that this was done at Wizard World Chicago.
I'll always feel an extra special connection to Texeira's Wolverine art as Wolverine 61 was the first issue I ever bought. Amazingly, I think it took me about 9 years to actually put together the entire storyline that spanned issues 54-57/60-64. Such were the breaks in the pre-internet/I was in grade school era.
