Cap remembers his time on the Russian Front as he is placed in the same village as the young Aleksander Lukin. Cap and Bucky confront the Nazis' newest super weapon, their version of the Super Soldier. The battle burns Lukin's village to the ground as Lukin's family is killed. Lukin is taken by Colonel Vasily Karpov, the mastermind of the Russian secret programs.
