Owner's Description
Once again, Batman and horror; it simply could not have gotten better (of course, it did!) in my "comic book reading and collecting life." What a simply amazing, wonderful, brilliant, magnificent, stupendous cover (I did not remember I had purchased ten copies of this issue from my favorite newwstand until moving my books into an "acid free" environment-no wonder it took me "forever" to do that).
What can be said about this cover, and the contents of this issue, that can do it justice? Not nearly enough. As you can tell, I truly enjoyed this issue and still do so.
As briefly as I'm able, this run, and this issue, of Detective Comics is one of the major reasons I'm still fascinated by comic books: what is not to like for the most part?
Keeper, until I locate a typical CGC graded 9.8 copy.

Frank Robins and Nelson Bridwell stories
(Irv) Novick, (Rich) Buckler, and (Dick) Giordano art
Michael Wm. Kaluta cover
