Issue #66 features the origin and first Silver Age appearance of the original Red Skull, Johann Schmidt, a protege.of Adolf Hitler, who was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. The Red Skull had no super powers, but possessed a high intellect and inventive genius. He was played by Hugo Weaving in Captain America: The First Avenger.
This copy is one of three highest graded as of 5/2020. It was acquired in the 8/14/2013 CL auction.
