This is one of only two 9.8 graded copies of this book out there!! Tnerb has the other copy.
I cracked this issue in preparation for a double signing in Baltimore. Simonson and Rubinstein were to grace it's cover.
But then I saw that Bo Hampton was attending the Tampa Bay Comic Con in two weeks and since this is the ONLY issue of this series with his art in it, I decided to go for his sig instead.
Knowing that Tnerb loves to get a variety of sigs on his New Mutants as well, I let him know about it and he sent me his copy to get signed as well.
I got them both signed by Bo on August 24th, 2013! The second pic is of him signing my copy!
The only real difference between our copies is that mine is a Golden State copy. Since Stephen at WorldWide Comics sent me replacement stickers for my GS comics that I am adding sigs to, this one now has the lovely GS sticker to match with the lovely yellow label.
