KEY ISSUE: No not really. This one does have an amazing Bill Sienkiewicz cover though

Bill Sienkiewicz Cover

Only 2 have ever been graded with both holding the 9.8 status and me owning the single 9.8SS out their. Having been signed by legendary artist Bill Sienkiewicz and even having Stan the Man Lee do a little scrawling made this one unavoidable to pass up on. Would love to attempt to get Jim Cheung and Mark Morales to sign on here as well but may pick-up another copy to attempt it with as this one looks way to perfect to crack for now.

Story Title: Bad Company – Love the song title reference.

SUMMARY:
I can honestly say I have no clue what goes on inside of this one. Marvel doesn’t even have this one available for download on there site so may be a few months before I can get home and pick up that reader copy.

By this point in my life I had already joined the Army in 1999 following High School and was well in the middle of my first military PCS. While I did put this series and in full all of comics on hold for a time being I don’t think I could ever not still enjoy the art of Bill Sienkiewicz as seen on the cover. Additionally seeing where one of my current favorite artists had honed his trade in my favorite series also make me appreciate him even more.

PERSONAL COMMENTS:

As I stated in a journal recently about this very issue, it came on the heels of NYCC. I had just made some significant purchases at the Con and was running low on funds. Then as with all things this one popped up right at the time that I’m looking to build my comic funds (Man Fun Account) back up. Needless to say a short conversation with the wife and a few please honey’s and I was back in the game. Honestly couldn’t pass this one up and if it hadn’t gone to me or Blarfingar I would have been devastated. As it was though fate was on my side…as well as an understanding wife and I was able to pull out all of the stops for this amazing pick-up.
