This quote actually made me laugh. I could already see Quentin Quire the rebellious student doing this now let alone a few years. Some type of Skottie Young Version of Cyclops as the Phoenix or something.
Anyways issue starts out with a bang...or at least a shink by Wolverine. After being baited into releasing his claws, Hulk smashing a table, and commiting the ultimate party foul of throwing his still full beer he realises that Cyclops wants him to kill him.
Cyclops apparently died for our sins... or at least the mutants sins.
Best part though is still Wolverine throwing a beer at Cyclops and pegging him with it. I guess his special needs helmet has a blind spot.
Then cuts to Cyclops back in general population talking to the new mutant and that's it... end of the comic.
Gotta say this one felt really short by the end. Had so many questions still and yet the comic just stopped with Cyclops happy some guys were wanting to kill him as he now found a way to become a Martyr.
CGC 9.8...only gets . 2 better or signature and both are extremely possible.
Cover as soon as possible.
