Look, it's horseface. I first wondered who this guy was, I never knew Max had a first appearance in anything other than this issue. But, I learned he was first created in Beauty and the Beast. The funny thing is, I only learned this recently. However, It is the first appearance of Strong Guy, can we mentioned point increase.
Lila Cheney also makes an appearance which by the way, her first was also with in the title the New Mutants. Although it will be a while before I get there, since the first annual is quite a distance away.
These next three issues will help end a question that was asked before Warlock, Cypher, Magik, and Magma joined the New Mutants...way before.
