SET DETAILS
Owner's Description
Finally a real artist. I purchased this right before I had an interview with CGC. AT the time it was the only on available. It was thanks to the kindness and generosity of Revat that allowed me to purchase the book from him. Knowing that if I did get hired, the days of trying to complete this set would have been limited. So I publicly thank you here.
However, Steve Leiahola was at ECCC 2014 where I could have gotten my other 9.8 signed, but opted out because I had a few to get signed by Art Adams. He did sign my number 34 along with my issue of 32 and I got to talk to him for a little bit. I didn't realize that he actually tried to emanate Bill Sienkiewicz when he took over for the New Mutants for his short attachment to Chris Claremont on this series.
The cover looks like an old polaroid photo split by time, even rahne dare I say was looking hot. I was thirteen and haven't discovered playboy yet. OK, Maybe I had, but Magik was still having trouble with her powers and like she did in issue 16, or was it 17, she travelled in time and saw an alternate future. I didn't realize it was issue like this that when I finally picked up X-Men 141 and 142, I loved them all the more.
This signature placement for this book is difficult to see, especially since he has such a smooth distinct signature.
Signed by Steve Leialoha on 5/18/13
