It's May 20th. The first 34 issues of this set are all signed. Only one is less than a 9.8. The other one, the one before this one is at CGC, and I hope that it retains its 9.8 status.
This book however was cracked and taken to Megacon 2014 for Bill Sienkiewicz to sign and not only to improve my New Mutants collection, but my Bill Sienkiewicz set. As with every 9.8 I crack, I get nervous. Any time a book retains its grade I feel comfortable cracking another...and yet...
From issues 18-31 were an amazing catalog of covers. I learned to enjoy Bill's artwork, but this cover isn't my favorite. It may be because he had help by Mary Wilshire, one of many cover artists that have helped throughout the years.After issue 34 and the special edition, along with the Uncanny X-Men Annual #9. Issue 35 had big shoes to fill which is why this issue was so difficult to please.
