October 1980, WHITE Pages. I purchased off the rack and stored in a mylite bag for 35 years; slabbed in May 2015.
Usually, I grade more conservatively than CGC and my grades come back on average higher than my predictions. However, I really struck out on this one. I had pegged this for a 9.6-9.8 despite not being as confident in grading square-bound books. Was very disappointed to see a 9.4 (grader note: "fingerprints center right back cover"). Huh? I don't see anything thru the plastic, so may never know what I missed unless I crack it out and take a closer look.
Anyway, to the comic. David Micheline story with nice George Perez and Dan Green art. Beautiful Perez/Austin cover (a match made in Heaven!). Ms. Marvel is rockin'!
