Bucky and Natalia Romanova have a romance going on, but Bucky is uneasy. He is not yet comfortable at his role in Steve Rogers' old shoes. To make matters worse, a villain from the old days returns, as Batroc raids a UN Scientific Research facility on a mercenary mission. Bucky's identity gets inadvertently blown, and Batroc reveals it to his mysterious employers, who are greatly interested... not in the Captain America aspect, but in Bucky's former identity as the Winter Soldier.
