(ONLY 9.6, Qual..)
(Qualified for GILBERT SHELTON signature,
& 'Fat Freddy's Cat' doodle, & Paul Mavrides
signature AND GLYPH, and because of THAT,
I think this THE BEST surviving COPY. Be-
sides, THIS came from COMIC RELIEF, and
RORY [Root] was there, shooting the sh~t, with
Paul, and GIL....

I met Gilbert Shelton (..for the first and only time) at Comic Relief.
I didn't know HE was going to be there,
and I lucked-out; so, I hung around....
I had the money to buy the latest issue, this one, which I DID NOT have a copy of
[...in my collection;
this was a 'must-have'
to maintain the 'run.']....
Mavrides I had met, and seen at
'Zap' 'Art' 'Parties', with..
Turner and Wilson.
Shelton and Mavrides both..
signed and dated
this,
the latest, at the time, issue

.., while Rory
was
THE
Gracious Host.
Gilbert drew
a Fat Freddy's Cat head cartoon on
th' inside front cover; Paul [I think]
made what looked like a GLYPH.
Shelton looked great, healthy, vibrant, like
a lot of the H~s from that era, and
at that age.
