Words that I first read as a pre-teen but wouldn't quite grasp the magnitude of until much later in life. Some would say Stephen King doesn't make for the best reading for an adolescent, but I think I turned out OK in the end.
Anyway, I certainly believe that Marvel took the right approach to the Gunslinger saga by kicking off the series with Wizard and Glass, rather than taking on the books sequentially. Roland's life played out chronologically will certainly make more sense to new readers. Now, let's just hope Hollywood doesn't screw up the long rumored movie!
As for the book itself, it was signed on 11/23/2014 by artist Jae Lee (I believe at the VA Comic Con).
