Synopsis: 1st story:

Sometime in the future, Psylocke is going to kill a man. In the present, though, she is feeling bored and, along with Dazzler, is defusing a hostage situation on Utopia, much to the chagrin of the New X-Men, who were handling things themselves. Betsy mocks them for their morals and their refusal to kill the unrepentant villain. However, Dazzler reminds her that she just doesn’t want to deal with the issue at hand, namely what to do with the corpse – her original body. Psylocke relents and decides to return the body to its resting place in Japan. Wolverine rides shotgun in the plane, claiming he has some business over there, but disappears when the Japanese authorities are about to arrest Betsy. She uses her telepathy to push them to more helpfulness. When she is about to return the body to the graveyard, she is attacked by ninjas, who destroy the body and tell her Matsu’o Tsurabaya sends his regards. Furious at having this last link to her old life destroyed, she vows to kill Matsu’o.

2nd story:

Hope extracts a sniper’s bullet from Cable’s back. Afterward, he returns to the sniper’s location and takes an additional bullet—this one in the arm—in order to draw the sniper out into the open. Cable executes him. As Hope cleans this next wound, she wonders why Cable cares for her so much.
