I remember buying this issue and thinking "Come on, show me that X-Men 25 was all just some elaborate bad dream. That couldn't have been real, could it????"
I guess as I've gotten older I appreciate the major twist they threw into Wolverine's life a bit more, but the way X-Men 25 went down will probably always irk me. Everything is going to plan, more or less, but right before Xavier can put the hammer down Jean breaks out her wishy washy hippie pyscho babble, and our dear Mr. Logan pays the price for her weak will. And then he still wouldn't let her fly out the Blackbird hatch in this issue!
At the very least though, I do have a 9.9 copy.
